Fiscal Rules

In Cyprus receipts must be digitally signed by an external device (aka Fiscalbox or ESD).

The Fiscalbox must also produce a daily Z Report. The Z Report is also signed and the signature must be printed on the Z report printed by the till together with the Fiscalbox Serial Number.

So, two Z Reports are printed:

• The first one by the Fiscalbox (it contains just checksum data and the digital signature)

• The second one (with daily totals) is printed by the Till and contains the signature calculated by the Fiscalbox

Prerequisites

Install on each till the Fiscalbox software FES-LAN provided by SoftTech and install the hardware Fiscalbox device (ESD).

The integration with the Fiscalbox software installs also an OCX Object (AlgoDLL.DLL) which is used by the driver to communicate with the Fiscalbox
